Fr. Matthew Wheeler ‘10 Appointed Pastor of Our Savior Parish & USC Caruso Catholic Center

LOS ANGELES, California | May 1, 2025 - Our Savior Parish & USC Caruso Catholic Center are pleased to announce the appointment of Fr. Matthew Wheeler ‘10 as Pastor, effective July 1, 2025. 

Fr. Matthew has been serving our community with great care and dedication as Parish Administrator since July 2024, offering compassionate leadership and spiritual guidance to the students of USC. His official appointment as Pastor recognizes his deep commitment to the life and spirit of our Trojan Catholic community.

This appointment continues our mission of transforming the lives of students at USC—offering them a Christ-centered home away from home where they are seen, known, and loved. Fr. Matthew’s presence strengthens the vibrant Catholic community we continue to build at USC.

A formal Installation Mass will be announced at a later date.
