Welcome Week is the fastest way to meet people and feel at home at the Catholic Center before classes begin. We have events every single day with many opportunities to meet new friends and get plugged in to the Trojan Catholic community

First-Year Student Experiences
Welcome Mass
Join us for our Welcome Mass as we welcome our incoming students and bless them at the start of their college journey. Families will receive a special candle to take home and light throughout the year, as a reminder of faith, hope, and God's guidance along their student's college faith journey.
Encounter Retreat
Encounter is a transformative experience designed specifically for incoming students to connect, reflect, and grow spiritually. This retreat offers a welcoming space for freshmen & transfer students to build meaningful relationships and explore their faith as they start their journey at USC.
