About Emerie

Emerie Poblano serves as the Director of Campus Ministry at the USC Caruso Catholic Center. Hailing from the great state of Texas, she graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, earning her B.S.A. while competing as a Division I NCAA student-athlete. She still gives the Trojan family a hard time about the 2006 Rose Bowl, Hook ’Em!

Before stepping into her current role, Emerie served three years as a campus missionary with the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS). In her final year, she served as Team Director. All three years were spent on USC’s campus, where she intentionally invested in and worked closely with student-athletes.

As she discerned transitioning from FOCUS staff, Emerie knew the Lord was still calling her to campus ministry. She joyfully accepted the opportunity to serve as Director of Campus Ministry at the Catholic Center, where she continues her mission of sharing the Gospel and walking with students in their faith journeys.

Emerie has a deep love for God’s people and a passion for proclaiming the Good News on the college campus. In her free time, she enjoys picking up unique hobbies, from harmonica to film photography, playing sports, live music, the outdoors, and creative projects. She loves to learn new things and have fun while doing it!
