St. Francis Food Pantry
Make a difference in our community!
One Saturday each month, we gather at the Catholic Center for prayer and then volunteer at the St. Francis Center, where we prep food boxes and distribute them to the homeless and families experiencing food insecurity.
This is one of our most popular outreach opportunities, so please be sure to RSVP!

Newman Guild: Sacred Art at Our Savior
Join us for a peaceful and prayerful day away from the busyness of daily life as we gather for the Newman Guild Fall Day of Reflection. We are honored to welcome David Judson, president of the world-renowned Judson Studios, known for its extraordinary stained glass and art installations. David will be sharing about all details and intricacies of the stained glass windows at Our Savior.
Programming will start at 10:30am followed by Mass & Lunch at 12:10pm. We hope to see you there!

Ministry Fair
Looking to get more involved at the CC? Join us for our Ministry Fair on Sunday, September 7 after the 10AM and 5PM Masses in the courtyard! Celebrate the first week of school being done and join us for Cocktails and Karaoke, an evening designed just for graduate students. Whether you're ready to belt out your favorite songs or just want to relax with good company and a drink in hand, this night is for you.
We’ll have a cozy atmosphere, great music, cocktails (ID required), and plenty of laughs. No pressure to perform, just come as you are, bring some friends, and enjoy a well-deserved night of fun and community.

NightFever | Night of Prayer
Join us for our very first Night Fever, a peaceful, come-and-go evening of prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, and worship from 8PM to Midnight.
Whether you’re new to faith, questioning, or simply seeking the goodness of God, this night is for you. The space will be filled with praise and worship, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, opportunities for confession, prayer teams available throughout the night, and a chance to light a candle for any intentions on your heart.
Stay for five minutes or for the whole night, there are no expectations, no pressures just an open door to come as you are.

Join us for The Encounter, a one-day experience for new Freshmen and Transfer students at USC. Meet the Catholic community through engaging social activities, build friendships with upperclassmen, and encounter Christ through joyful and fun activities at the Caruso Catholic Center.

Bonfire at the Courtyard
Come unwind and connect with fellow Trojan Catholics during three laid-back nights of fun under the stars! As part of move-in week, we’re welcoming returning students and especially incoming freshmen + transfer students to the Catholic Center with a cozy courtyard bonfire, tasty s’mores, classic movies, and friendly games. It’s the perfect way to relax, meet new friends, and get to know our community before classes kick off.
No need to RSVP, just drop in any or all nights and join the fun!

Rite of Light Mass and Blessing
The USC Caruso Catholic Center is excited to welcome all our incoming USC students and their parents to the Rite of Light Blessing & Mass.
This Mass & Blessing is an annual celebration that encourages students in their faith as they begin their years at USC while allowing parents to place their son or daughter into the hands of God. A light reception follows this special celebration.

Eucharistic Procession
Join us for our Second Eucharistic Procession on Wednesday, April 30th, for a powerful witness of faith as we walk with Our Lord through the USC campus. We will begin with Holy Hour and Confessions at 4PM, followed by Mass at 5PM. In preparation for the Eucharistic Procession please check in before Mass to receive a wristband to enter USC campus.
Immediately following Mass, we will process with Our Lord to USC campus and end at the USC Caruso Catholic Center with Benediction. Following we will gather for a light reception.

From Consoles to Canonization | The 1st Millennial Saint
We are witnessing history with the Canonization of our first Millennial saint, Blessed Carlo Acutis!
What better way to celebrate the canonization of Blessed Carlo Acutis by sharing a hobby of video games! Join us April 29 to learn about newly canonized Carlo Acutis, the first millennial saint! We will start out the evening with a discussion about his life and journey towards sainthood, and conclude with playing games to celebrate Carlo Acutis becoming the patron saint of the internet! Bring a friend and prepare for a fun night of discussion and games such as Mario Kart and some fun board games!

Interfaith Potluck
Join us Monday, April 28 for a welcoming Interfaith Potluck! This event celebrates the rich diversity of spiritual and cultural traditions on campus through a shared meal fellowship. Bring a dish that reflects your heritage or personal story—everyone is welcome!

Moriah Men's End of the Year Beach Bonfire
Brothers, let’s come together one last time before summer for an unforgettable evening of fellowship, food, and fire by the beach! Join us on Saturday, April 26th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Dockweiler State Beach for a night filled with a bonfire, delicious food and snacks, live music, fun beach games, and genuine brotherhood and encouragement.

Live Stations of the Cross
As we commemorate the crucifixion of our Lord on Good Friday, join us on April 18th for a live reenactment of the Stations of the Cross. Starting at 3PM, we will begin at Tommy Trojan and process our way down Trousdale until we arrive at the Catholic Center. We hope you can join us as we pray through the Stations.

Karaoke at Hotel Dieu
Come spread joy and share a morning of music with our elderly friends at Hotel Dieu! Enjoy a lively karaoke session filled with heartfelt singing, laughter, and meaningful conversations. We'll also have light refreshments to share as we connect and build community.

Moriah Men’s Sunrise Rosary Hike
Join us on Sunday, April 7th, for a peaceful and reflective Sunrise Rosary Hike at Griffith Park, guided by the beautiful vistas of the Tom LaBonge Panorama. Fr. Matt Wheeler will be joining us. Here are the details:
Departure: We'll leave from USC at 5:00AM sharp and drive to the Berlin Forest at Griffith Park. The drive is approximately 30 minutes.
Hike Trail Options:
A longer, 1.5-mile winding trail to begin the hike.
A shorter, 0.5-mile steep trail for our descent.
Sunrise & Rosary: We will reach the Tom LaBonge Panorama in time for sunrise at 6:32AM, where we’ll pray the Rosary as the sun rises.
Return: We aim to return to campus by 9:00AM.
