A Catholic Guide to Adulting w/ Paul J. Kim
We’re thrilled to welcome Paul J. Kim, renowned Catholic speaker to USC for an inspiring evening on January 21 at 6:30PM designed especially for young adults navigating the leap into adulthood.
In a world marked by rapid technological change, the influence of social media, financial pressures, and the constant swirl of modern life, young adults face both remarkable potential and genuine challenges.
In A Catholic Guide to Adulting, Paul J. Kim will speak on discovering purpose, pursuing vocation, and striving for greatness in a culture overflowing with noise and expectations. Through engaging storytelling and practical insight, he reveals how faith becomes not just a belief system, but a compass that illuminates the entire journey into adult life.

Honduras Mission Trip 2026
Overview
When: March 13–22, 2026 • Cost: $2,950–$3,100
Join us for a transformative mission trip to Honduras, serving alongside the Missioners of Christ and students from other FOCUS campuses. Our mission includes visiting homes, supporting faith formation for all ages, bringing the Sacraments to local communities, and helping lead retreats with talks, testimonies, skits, music, and games.

Alternative Spring Break | Tijuana Mission Trip
Tijuana Mission Trip
Join us for a transformative week of service, community, and cultural encounter on our annual ASB Tijuana Mission Trip. We will be partnering with Esperanza, an organization dedicated to empowering local communities through long-term, relationship-based development. Together, we will assist families in building safe and stable homes while learning from the people we serve.
Trip Logistics
Dates: March 15–21, 2026
Meet at CC: Sunday, March 15 at 9:00AM to drop off luggage
Return: Saturday, March 21 around 1:00PM
Cost: $150 — includes program fees, housing, transportation to/from the CC, and all meals.

All registrants must have a valid passport at the time of the trip.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass & Procession
Join us for an Evening Mass at 5:30PM celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. After Mass, we’ll have a short procession with her image around the Catholic Center, followed by a small reception that will include coffee/ hot chocolate and pan dulce in the courtyard. All are welcome—bring a friend and come celebrate with us.

Flapjacks and Finals
Finals are coming up! Refuel with a cozy dinner of pancakes and waffles loaded with your favorite toppings plus coffee, orange juice, and tea to keep you going! Join us in Newman Hall on Wednesday, December 10th from 6-8PM for a little finals week pick-me-up. No RSVP needed, just come hungry and ready to recharge!
Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary | Holy Day of Obligation
The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception celebrates that Mary was conceived without original sin. As Pope Pius IX said in 1854, and as quoted in the Catechism, “The most Blessed Virgin Mary was, from the first moment of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege of almighty God and by virtue of the merits of Jesus Christ, Savior of the human race, preserved immune from all stain of original sin.
This is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass will be offered at 12:10 PM and 5:30 PM.
Rosary for Vulnerable Women & Babies
Join us in prayer as we lift up vulnerable women and babies to Our Blessed Mother’s care. Together, we’ll pray the Rosary for those facing hardship, offering our intentions for protection, healing, and hope.
St. Francis Food Pantry
Make a difference in the community and help the less fortunate by prepping food boxes and distributing them to our brothers and sisters in need. Come join us at St. Francis Center this Saturday, November 2. We will meet at the CC at 9AM and will return at 1PM. This is an amazing opportunity to serve alongside Trojan Catholics and to help those in our community.

Come with us on Friday as we visit with the homeless and elderly at Casa Milagrosa & Hotel Dieu! We will meet in the courtyard at 7:20am and return by 10:30am. Come and join us, it's the best way to start your weekend!
Advent Night of Mercy | Penance Service
Take time this Advent to prepare your heart for the coming of Christ. We invite our CC Community for our Advent Penance Service on Wednesday, December 3rd, from 7 to 9PM. Multiple priests will be available to hear confessions and share God’s healing grace. It’s a beautiful opportunity to receive forgiveness, peace, and renewal as we await the joy of Christmas. No RSVP needed!
Greek Mass
CALLING ALL GREEK! You’re invited to a special Greek Row Mass with Fr. Matt on Tuesday, December 2nd. Confessions will start at 6PM followed by Mass at 7PM. This is a special opportunity to encounter the sacraments in the heart of your community and to gather with friends and fellow students for a peaceful, meaningful evening. Marian Consecration
There is only ONE person in history, who, by the power of the Holy Spirit, brought forth the God-man… and that person is Mary! She has the special gift of bringing forth Christ, and she can do it in your life, if you give her permission! Marian Consecration is giving Our Lady FULL permission to form Christ in you.
We will meet three times to prepare, and then the consecration Mass will be on Monday, December 8. Whether you’re making your consecration for the first time or renewing it, all are welcome!

Men's No Shave November Challenge
Put down the razor, grow out the beard, and make an impact this November!
From November 1–30, join the men of the CC for month-long challenge where men commit to no shaving and instead, donate the money normally spent on razors and grooming (suggested: $10, the average monthly cost of shaving) to support service initiatives that make a difference.
Each participant will receive a pin to recognize their contribution. We’ll close the month with a community lunch and Best Facial Hair Competition, a joyful celebration of brotherhood, growth, and impact.

A friendly reminder that November 1 is the Solemnity of All Saints, the Church celebrates dedicated to the saints of the Church. Join us for Mass at 9AM. Make sure to mark your calendar for this day!
Shipwrecked | Halloween Event
On the eve of All Saints, Fr. Matt vanished during a mysterious “pilgrimage.” His last message? A set of cryptic coordinates. Now, the CC is calling all detectives to set sail for Rome and uncover the truth.
Join the crew for Shipwrecked, our CC exclusive Halloween event full of costumes, cryptic clues, and chilling twists. Work with your crew, piece together the evidence, and uncover what really happened to Fr. Matt before it’s too late.
Check-in starts at 7pm and the event is from 8-10. Costumes are encouraged, so come best dressed and join the fun!
All Saints Day Vigil Mass
You’re invited to our All Saints Day Vigil Mass on Friday, October 31 at 530PM. Light a candle in memory of our loved ones who have gone before us. Join us for a peaceful and prayerful day away from the busyness of daily life as we gather for the Newman Guild Fall Day of Reflection. We are honored to welcome David Judson, president of the world-renowned Judson Studios, known for its extraordinary stained glass and art installations. David will be sharing about all details and intricacies of the stained glass windows at Our Savior.
