Catholic Trojan Retreat 13 (CTRXIV)

Lenten Worship Night w/ Matt Maher
We are so excited to welcome Matt Maher to the CC! He’s a nine-time Grammy nominee and Grammy winner, with some of the most recognizable worship songs out there, including ‘Your Grace Is Enough’ and ‘Christ Is Risen’.
Join us on February 27 at 7PM where he’ll be leading our Lenten Worship Night through music and story as we start Lent together.

St. Francis Food Pantry
Make a difference in the community and help the less fortunate by prepping food boxes and distributing them to our brothers and sisters in need. Come join us at St. Francis Center this Saturday, November 2. We will meet at the CC at 930AM and will return at 1PM. This is an amazing opportunity to serve alongside Trojan Catholics and to help those in our community.

OneLife LA
Join us on January 24 as we take part in OneLife LA, an annual gathering that unites communities and inspires action in celebration of the dignity of every human life from conception to natural death.
We’ll meet in the CC courtyard at 1pm and carpool to the Cathedral for the Walk for Life, where speakers, music, and acts of service will uplift our call to protect the vulnerable: the unborn, the homeless, the sick, the elderly, and immigrants.
The day concludes with a Requiem Mass for the Unborn at 5pm, inviting us into reflection and hope.
Mass w/ Fr. Mike Schmitz
You’ve probably seen him on YouTube, heard him at SEEK, or listened to the Bible in a Year podcast. We’re beyond excited to welcome Fr. Mike Schmitz to the CC to celebrate Mass on January 22 at 5:30 pm.
We expect a large congregation, so please come early to save a seat. This is going to be an incredible night, so grab your friends and don’t miss out!
Ministry Fair
God has blessed each of us with gifts meant to build up the community.
Ministry Fair is your chance to put those gifts into action! Join us in the courtyard after the 10am and 5pm Masses on January 18th to meet student leaders and staff and learn how you can get involved at the CC. From Bible studies and choir to mission trips and more, there’s a place for you here.
NightFever | Night of Prayer
Join us for Night Fever, a peaceful, come-and-go evening of prayer, Eucharistic Adoration, and worship from 8PM to Midnight.
Whether you’re new to faith, questioning, or simply seeking the goodness of God, this night is for you. The space will be filled with praise and worship, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, opportunities for confession, prayer teams available throughout the night, and a chance to light a candle for any intentions on your heart.
Stay for five minutes or for the whole night, there are no expectations, no pressures just an open door to come as you are.

Freshmen, join us for Freshman Happy Hour on Tuesday, January 13th, from 6-7PM and meet other first-year students and learn more about the Catholic Center.
SEEK 2026
SEEK is a five-day experience where thousands of Catholics come together to encounter Christ through prayer, Adoration, the sacraments, and inspiring speakers. It’s a chance to focus on what matters most, grow in authentic community, and be transformed in your faith. Our Lady of Guadalupe Mass & Procession
Join us for an Evening Mass at 5:30PM celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe. After Mass, we’ll have a short procession with her image around the Catholic Center, followed by a small reception that will include coffee/ hot chocolate and pan dulce in the courtyard. All are welcome—bring a friend and come celebrate with us.

Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary | Holy Day of Obligation
The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception celebrates that Mary was conceived without original sin. As Pope Pius IX said in 1854, and as quoted in the Catechism, “The most Blessed Virgin Mary was, from the first moment of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege of almighty God and by virtue of the merits of Jesus Christ, Savior of the human race, preserved immune from all stain of original sin.
This is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass will be offered at 12:10 PM and 5:30 PM.

Advent Night of Mercy | Penance Service
Take time this Advent to prepare your heart for the coming of Christ. We invite our CC Community for our Advent Penance Service on Wednesday, December 3rd, from 7 to 9PM. Multiple priests will be available to hear confessions and share God’s healing grace. It’s a beautiful opportunity to receive forgiveness, peace, and renewal as we await the joy of Christmas. CALLING ALL GREEK! You’re invited to a special Greek Row Mass with Fr. Matt on Tuesday, December 2nd. Confessions will start at 6PM followed by Mass at 7PM. This is a special opportunity to encounter the sacraments in the heart of your community and to gather with friends and fellow students for a peaceful, meaningful evening. Annual CC Friendsgiving
Our annual Friendsgiving is back on Thursday, November 20! Be a part of this night of gratitude and good food. Enjoy a cozy evening with friends and prayer as we reflect on our blessings. It’s potluck style, so please bring a dish to share. Make sure to RSVP by Monday, November 17.
Marian Consecration
There is only ONE person in history, who, by the power of the Holy Spirit, brought forth the God-man… and that person is Mary! She has the special gift of bringing forth Christ, and she can do it in your life, if you give her permission! Marian Consecration is giving Our Lady FULL permission to form Christ in you.
We will meet three times to prepare, and then the consecration Mass will be on Monday, December 8. Whether you’re making your consecration for the first time or renewing it, all are welcome!
