After Mass, we’ll have a short procession with her image around the Catholic Center, followed by a small reception that will include coffee/ hot chocolate and pan dulce in the courtyard. The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception celebrates that Mary was conceived without original sin. As Pope Pius IX said in 1854, and as quoted in the Catechism, “The most Blessed Virgin Mary was, from the first moment of her conception, by a singular grace and privilege of almighty God and by virtue of the merits of Jesus Christ, Savior of the human race, preserved immune from all stain of original sin.

This is a Holy Day of Obligation. Mass will be offered at 12:10 PM and 5:30 PM.

This evening will open the Month of November, a time when we unite in prayer, seeking the intercession of all the Saints and lifting up the souls of our dearly departed. We hope to see you there!
