Paint, Priest, & Pinot

Are you open to something different this Lenten season? We invite you to a special Newman Guild spring event, Paint, Priest, & Pinot, on Sunday, March 24 at 4:00 p.m. in the USC Caruso Catholic Center, Newman Hall.

Schedule of Events:

  • 3:00 p.m. - Marian Chapel Unveiling
  • 3:30 p.m. - Marian Chapel Unveiling Reception (Courtyard)
  • 3:50 p.m. - Paint, Priest, & Pinot Check-in
  • 4:00 p.m. - Painting Instruction by USC Roski Student Carole Boulware, '19
  • 5:15 p.m. - Fr. Richard's Lenten Reflection
  • 5:45 p.m. - Wrap-up
  • 6:00 p.m. - Sunday scupper (Courtyard)

Guests will take home their painting, a commemorative apron, a spiritual lift, and memories of a fun afternoon! Witness your Newman Guild dues in action as students dine at Sunday SCupper. Cost is $40 per person and includes all materials, food, and drinks. Registration is open to all Newman Guild members, potential members, spouses, and other guests. Reverend Richard Sunwoo, the USC Caruso Catholic Center Advisory Board, and Liturgical Design Committee request the honor of your presence at the unveiling of our new Marian Chapel. Please join us in the blessing and celebration on March 24 at 3:00 p.m. Light refreshments to follow in the courtyard. Please RSVP by March 15 to Rose Ramirez via email or phone (213) 516.3975. There is no cost to attend the unveiling. Please note that these events do not include Mass.
