Living a life in Christ with the Catholic Center is not limited to attending mass,  but includes actively pursuing community service to help the poor and the needy as He would have done.  Find the cause here that you are   passionate about and come together with your friends in faith to make a difference in the lives of many.

Our signature social justice program, homeless ministry, has gathered both students and community members every Tuesday for the last decade to make and distribute sandwiches at the heart of Skid Row— the run-down homeless hub of downtown LA. It is quite the experience and definitely one to try out.

Other events include Adopt-A-Family,  where we make Christmas possible for three deserving families who would otherwise not be able to buy gifts.  Speakers have come in to speak on various issues, from Invisible Children to exploited labor. Periodically, blood drives are held at the center.  In 2008, we will return to Tijuana, Mexico to build houses during Alternative Spring Break. Last year’s trip proved to be a moving week-long experience filled with sweat, laughter, and tears.

Join us this year to help change our world for the better.
